The Original Fisherman’s Friendship Bracelet: Sailor Knot Tutorial. Tutorial from Etsy here. These are the original friendship bracelets from way way back. Also, the clearest instructions I’ve read on making these. Really. And I flunked out of macrame class.

Supplies:

• 3.5 yards of twine

• 14 ounce can for a smaller bracelet or a 20 ounce can for a larger bracelet. Any other round object that has the appropriate circumference for your wrist will do.

DIY Criss Cross T from Fitted T. Found at Coats Crafts here. It says it a crochet pattern, but I don’t think it is. You basically use ric-rac and Rowan (or other brand) cotton rope and follow the photo. Pattern here. This could be really beautiful or turn out really badly!
